Asado A La Plaza

After Tom bought everything on his shopping list of gifts and souvenirs we headed back to the Alfa to sit around and catch up on everything at home. We were waiting for Angelica to come over. She had invited us to her home for lunch with her parents. Following her to her home.
Once there we met her parents and her younger sister. Her brother who we already knew, his wife and two children also came for lunch. Both of her parents speak very good English so Tom and I didn’t feel lost. They made us feel right at home and it was a wonderful afternoon. [I brought my camera but forgot to take any pictures!]
Angelica and her mother cooked lunch –Asado A La Plaza - a very Mazatlan dish. It was delicious!  Beef and potatoes cubed and fried then layered with shredded lettuce and carrots and thinly sliced red onion.  On top of that we put guacamole, sour cream and shredded Mexican cheese. Is your mouth watering yet? Eaten with freshly made hot tortillas. And then rice pudding for desert. We could hardly stand up from the table we were so full.

We had a very good time and feel honored to have met Angelica's family.
Stopped at the market on the way home and then dropped Tom off at his hotel. And that was about it for yesterday.
